I usually see another dentist, but had to get in quickly for a procedure my dentist doesn't offer. I was so impressed with everyone at Tonka Smiles, from the woman I talked with on the phone, to everyone who works in the office, to the dentist herself. They got me in quickly, and were so very kind & friendly.

I have been going to Tonka Smiles for over 20 years and their dedication to service is by far the greatest I’ve ever received. I had always gone to Dr. Bergstedt so when he retired a couple years back I decided to try out a new dental office that would be under my insurance and closer to home (I live about an hour away now). I had gone to the new clinic for 2 visits and could not go back for a 3rd. I didn’t care about the monetary expense at that point I had to go back to Tonka Smiles. For as long as I can remember (even as a child) I loved going to the dentist, you could even said I looked forward to it! When I switched to the new clinic I dreaded going and kept putting off my appointments. I’m thrilled to be back at Tonka Smiles now and they’re even a provider for my new insurance plan so win-win! I still drive about an hour from home but it is well worth it! From Brenda at the front desk to the hygienists, like Leann, and to the doctors, like Dr. Bergstedt and Dr. Phillips, the service is top notch and you truly feel cared for and that they have your best interest in mind. Yesterday I got another cavity filled and the whole process was quick and painless (a numbing shot helps). When they give you the shot they even rub your shoulder and let you know what to expect and when it’s done. They also gave me a follow up call today to see how everything is feeling. This may seem insignificant but it’s all those little things that add to the great experience you have here. One last awesome thing they do (I could keep going but this is getting long). When I was younger I thought it was so cool that they always knew what was going on in my life, it made me feel so special . Now as an adult, I realized that after I left they made notes in my chart about our conversations or upcoming life events. Then if I had a different hygienist for my next visit they already had some background about what was going on with me or my interests. To me, this is one of the biggest reasons I love to go there, the personal touches. My mom, sister and nephew all go here so it’s nice to feel recognized and be a familiar face when there are probably hundreds of patients that go here. I highly, highly recommend anyone looking for a new dentist or clinic to go to Tonka Smiles!
